Sophie is a 24 year old poet from South London. She started performing in Peckham, at James Massiah's open mic nights, The A and the E.
Her poetry performances include Boiler Room TV, Just Jam TV, for The W Project at Shoreditch House, Emerald Live Events, Steez, on NTS Radio, at Bussey Building for Getting By and Converse, at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), London, for Sophie Mayanne's Behind the Scars Exhibition, and for Nasty Women UK. Sophie has been interviewed by Mouvement, a prestigious french magazine and Square Mile and has been in featured in The Culture Trip, Riposte Magazine, The Scotsman, Hero Magazine and Vogue Italia.
Last year, Sophie wrote and performed the poetry narration for the successful circus arts performance of Coppelia (Feathers of Daedalus Circus), at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
