Sophie is a 29 year old creative, poet, writer and voice over artist from South London, previously talent managed by The Fifth Agency, she now takes commissions and work directly.

 

Day to day she works at MAL London for Apple as a Creative with her partner Abbey Monteiro.

Her poetry performances include Boiler Room TV, Just Jam TV, for The W Project at Shoreditch House, Emerald Live Events, Steez, on NTS Radio, at Bussey Building for Getting By and Converse, at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA),  for Sophie Mayanne's Behind the Scars Exhibition, and for Nasty Women UK.

 

Sophie has been interviewed by Guap Magazine, British Vogue, F Word Magazine, SlckLoveZine, Blaze Mag, Blok Editions, Mouvement, Twin Magazine, Slink Magazine and Square Mile. She has been featured in The Culture Trip, Riposte Magazine, The ScotsmanHero Magazine and Vogue Italia. She has written three scripts for Stella Consonni (director, Object and Animal) which have been premiered across Vogue and Nowness.

Her first release is called 'Nasty', an audiobook produced by grime MC and producer, Blay Vision, listen here. She has been published in Words By, for Unicef. Her latest publication and self-published debut poetry book, Blessings, Mainly Schoolings is available to purchase on site and at Isla Berlin.

​

She currently hosts the Lyricism Show on Foundation FM, and has held her own residencies at the Hoxton Hotel Group and Boxpark. Guest features include a residency on Rinse FM, with Marcus Nasty.

​

Her clients include Adidas, Hyundai, Jagermeister, Mont Blanc, Schuh, Object and Animal, New Balance, Outset Art. She has supported Charlotte de Santos at Jazz Cafe and NAO on her last album launch at Represent Radio. Sophie has also written and performed the narrations for various successful performances on behalf of Feathers of Daedalus Circus, notably the highly praised Coppelia (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

Sophie also writes for Mission Statement Magazine and Sondr.

​

Sophie was one of the first members of the incredible @runtheboroughs running club hosted by New Balance. A running club set up to help her go from an everyday runner to a London Marathon participant.
